Petko This is the tune we play at Revel Grove for the Cirque Circassian dance. It’s a couple’s dance I first learned at Festival Interceltique de Lorient in 1997 and it is still danced there, often scores or hundreds of people at a time. The dance goes forward/back __ forward/back__ together/apart, pass the lady in front__ together/apart, gent faces her and passes in front while turning her under. Substitute lady/gent for shorter person/taller person.

REVEL GROVE TUNES
We play these tunes after Petko and teach an An Dro to them, even though the tunes are really marches and not An Dro as pointed out to me by a respected Breton musician. The dance goes: step left/right/left/pause– right/left/right/pause, and has the leader going left leading by linked pinkies while the arms go up in a number 9 shape, down in a number 6 shape.
