Scottish Smallpipes
There are three basic woods available and they sound only slightly different. Blackwood is the brightest/loudest, Cocobolo is more mellow, and Mopane is in between. The mounts could be made of almost anything and there are a lot of choices available for them.

Mounts
From the top, clockwise: Axis deer antler, Osage
orange wood, Texas ebony, boxelder burl, cocobolo,
and olive wood. Blackwood also makes an excellent
black mount material.
